    Hi,

Not sure if this has been covered before, but I'm looking for advice from someone that has a fully functioning bluetooth car kit for the Desire HD. I tried to get the phone to work with my Nokia 7W but the echo was chronic and it wouldn't download my contacts. Then I tried it on a friend's Parrot (not sure of the model) and while the echo was gone, no luck with the contacts download. So I'm wondering whether anyone has a kit that is working without any issues. Any help greatly appreciated...

depends what you are looking for?

I have a THB Bury CC9960 (something like that) and it connects to the phone fine, downloads and updates contacts fine, voice dials fine.

It doesn't read SMS like it can with other phones, but in terms of making and accepting calls (and the call quality) it is absolutely grand.

Looking for the same myself but also looking for one that plays music through it too! Does the bury have this capability?

    Bury CC9060 music
    Parrot MKi9200
    Nokia CK-100

Will all play music via bluetooth all are good reliable kits

Thanks for the suggestions. I forgot to mention that I also had a Nokia CK-200 installed, but again it wouldn't download the contacts. I have emailed HTC to see if they have any suggestions...

I have that Parrot MKi9200 and it's brilliant. Parrot's support for it is excellent, they are constantly releasing firmware updates for it to fix different issues. I never have problems syncing contacts, using voice activation or playing music over A2DP. My kids use my Desire to watch tv shows while in the car and I can stream the audio over A2DP and I can also stream the directions audio for the navigation app over it, although I have found that annoying as it cuts in too often and cuts off the car radio to do so. It is a very solid piece of kit.
