My fiancée and I (both in our late 20's) are hoping to book a one week holiday in June this year to the South of France. We like the idea of staying in a chalet close to a beach. We've never been to the south of france before so haven't a clue where to start looking for places to go. We would be flying rather than the ferry/drive option. Any help with destinations would be appreciated.

Portiragnes Plage in the Languedoc has a great campsite (Les Sablons) right on a fantastic beach. You can fly to Rodez (very cheap, 2.5 hours), Carcassone (2 hrs) or via UK to Montpelier or Beziers (10 km). Aer Lingus have just started flying to Perpignan too
