Tv Licence and No Signal Coming in. Still Have to Pay

    Just a question lets just say I do not have any tv signal coming in but I have a tv.

    Do I still have to pay a tv licence ?

    If so why I am not watching any networks.....

    the license is for equipment capable of receiving a tv signal. some things or excluded, like laptops etc.

    It's the same as a gun license. Even if you never fire the thing, or have any ammunition, you still need a license for a fire arm.

    laptop not excluded if it has a TV tuner.

    At least then you can use the gun to shoot frighten the TV license inspector when he is in your area :D

    right the tv license guy comes to your door asks to see your tv so you take your gun with your gun license and shoot the telly.

    The tv does not work now so I do not need a license for it now.
