Iron Man - all sold out!

    Hey,

I want to complete an Iron Man competition this year and as I go through the website (ironman.com) and all of them seem to be sold out bar wales. Are ironman competitions exclusive to this organisation?

I did a marathon in Chicago & in Dublin this year and found Chicago a lot easier as I was in a foreign place, new sites etc. Wales would be too much like Ireland!

I will need approx 9 months to train so its really August - November that I can compete!

    Thanks

    Mike

Have a look at the Challenge Races which are also Ironman distance and have a good reputation judging by your time scale Challenge Barcelona might suit you best

    mprop,

Plenty of "Full Distance" races in August. As always the site with the most complete long distance tri calendar is k226.com.

You could try Embrunman in August? A lovely spin around the French countryside taking in some nice hills ;)
