    Hi all,

    Following a break in Im looking to upgrade security at home. Looking to get 2/3 outdoor cameras, a good night vision is required and the ability to log in via IP remotely is essential. Im assuming the best setup would be to get a standalone DVR? Recommendations also on this if possible.

    If you're going the diy route then RF Concepts are worth a look. They stock avermedia which seems to be a diy favourite. There's some other recommendations in this forum, a quick search will throw up a few.
    If you want a professionally installed system then expect to pay between 1000-1500
