hi im a 24 yr old male and i want to buy my first car. i have a budget of €4000 for tax insurance nct and the car itself. where do i look? www.cbg.ie? how do i make sure the car is as described etc? how do i buy privately? would it be best if i did? also, if i pay my tax and insurance on the car for 1 year, can i pay it…

where do i look? www.cbg.ie? how do i make sure the car is as described etc? how do i buy privately? would it be best if i did?

also, if i pay my tax and insurance on the car for 1 year, can i pay it all at once as i am not sure i will have funds in my account each month?

and finally, if i find myself unemployed after the first year, will i have any bills to pay on the car or will it just mean i can no longer drive the car?
i wont be charged anything until i decide to drive it again right? is it ok to leave a car uninsured for some time once undriven?
