flutes barrel refers to the outer barrel and is just cosmetic on an airsoft replica

on a real fire arm it would be used to increase heat to dissipation and reduce weight as fair as im aware

on a replica you have the outer barrel which is what we see and then you have an inner barrel which is normal made of brass which is what the bb travels down, this is what they will be referring to as being tight bore?

it take it your talking about the new m24 clone that has just come out? i have also seen reviews showing the echo one rebranded version as having a tight bore but i will wait until i have one in my hands as the quality of stock barrels is not always the best and although it may be 6.03 in size the quality and consistency of the barrel may not be the best and this will be what your looking for when looking at accuracy
