Difference in Wireless and Mobile Broadband.

    I am currently a Vodafone customer but I am cancelling my mobile broadband contract due to its really low speed and I am changing to three. When I go into the three website it asks me do I want mobile broadband or wireless broadband. Both are around the same price but my question is which should be quicker or better and should three have better speeds than Vodafone ( I can currently get a maximum of 1 mps)

    Three don't sell broadband, so don't expect it to be any better than what you have now. 1Mbps is actually quite good for 3G, and I think you'd be lucky to get the same with Three.

    What Three call wireless broadband is just a wifi router on the 3G modem. It is the exact same thing as their mobile broadband product (that just has a modem that you must connect directly to the computer). Neither is broadband, and calling it wireless broadband is even less accurate.

    A wifi router is not wireless broadband. It is a wireless home network that can be connected to either wired or wireless broadband, or to 3G products like this.
