The kingdom will come roaring back don't you worry.
Dublin for sam?Have ye learned nothing from the last 15 years?haha
Best case scenario for me though is Kerry,Dublin,Tyrone and Cork all playing well which would make for a great championship. If Kerry get back to anywhere near there best they're untouchable but I think there'll be a good few teams hungry for it with Cork winning last year.

The benefit of Cork winning this year is that other teams will go for a 'particular' type of big, physical fella for their teams which will make the championship all the more interesting when the these lads collide...

I don't think the Kingdom will come back roaring at all. They will beat Cork alright but I don't think they will go any further than the quarter finals.
If you look at their panel from the Down game this year, outside the starting 15 (and Tomás Ó'Sé and Paul Galvin who were suspended) there were no real household names and even at that some of the starting 15 that day weren't world beaters. They still need to replace players such as Diarmaid Murphy, Darragh O'Sé, Tommy Walsh, Mike McCarthy and Tadgh Kennelly and with Marc and Tomás Ó'Sé, Tommy Griffin and Tom O'Sullivan all the wrong side of 30 there could be a few lean years ahead in the Kingdom

If we fade from what we 'achieved' this year then James Horan will have a very short intercounty managerial career.

Cork & Tipperary, having got over their dry streaks, to kick on and retain their titles, playing more adventerous and exciting games (Cork especially)

Both have loads of young players coming through that simply do not know what losing feels like - Maher, McGrath, Sheehan, Walsh etc.
These guys are only going to get better with time and i could see the next decade being dominated by Cork & Tipp respectively

Hmm, a Meathman predicting the Dubs will win Sam. Can I take that with a pinch of salt or are you being serious ;)

ha ha never got back to you on this.ive a theory that the likes of dublin cork kerry etc that have been knocking on the door(and winning) all irelands the last few years are going to somehow prime their peak for the august bank holiday weekend after seeing the demolition of all the provincal champions in 2010 at that stage.so i reckon dublin will get hopped in leinster but not really care and build themselves back up like in 2010.

they now have the experience of losing to cork on board and to be honest lost that game through a lack of composure particularly on ross mc connells behalf.its obviously depending on injuries etc but i reckon if they play like they did when they hit form last year they will win it.

Was looking for something else I posted and stumbled across this thread. Quite a few (myself included) rightly predicted the Dubs last year. Funny how rpurfield mentioned it about the provincial winners fate from 2010 and all 4 of them made it through to the semi finals last year!
