Cancelling an Order from a Website/Bank Transfer Involved

    So, long story short, I caught my younger brother ordering magic mushrooms off some website. I was pretty pissed off because I was lending him the money because I thought he was buying parts for his PC at first but I got over it and we both sat down and cancelled it off the website. I had let him use my details for a bank transfer, it'll be a LONG time before I trust him again :mad: but sure that's another story. Just checked on my bank account online and it says this bank transfer is pending. Should I call my bank Tuesday and explain the story and ask them to cancel it too or will cancelling off the website be enough?

    It's not for a huge sum of money - 40 euro, but I'd still rather not spend it on something that he could have picked in a field ffs.

    You might not be able to stop a bank transfer. If the money has left your account, then it's gone. You'd be best off contacting the bank though.

    Hmm. I'll contact them first thing tomorrow. Do you think that once I'd cancel the order for these mushrooms that the website business would just send me back the transfer, surely they would? Well in any case, I'll have to contact my bank, cheers Jor El!
