Il be retired at 39

Thats early enough for me, Ive 10 more years to pick out a nice comfy pair of slippers.

eh just do the Euromillions and cross ur fingers, you could be "retired" soon enough.

Just don't throw all your hopes into winning the Lotto/Euromillions, work hard towards your retirement as well. :D

You have to be old enough to have enough of a nest egg built up that is... in your judgement capable of supplying you with the lifestyle you want/have grown accustomed to for the rest of your days.

dont forget to take inflation into account.

break out a calculator - I reckon you have a bit to go yet, unless you are a person of considerable means.

That's what most 65 year-olds are now saying, after their pension funds went down the sh1tter. They'll have to carry on working until they're 150 to top it up enough to retire.

Well then perhaps you are accustomed to a lifestyle that requires little in the way of monetary supports.

If you're happy that you're retirement wont be filled with yachts and ferrero rocher ambassadors receptions then you may retire at will. You have my blessing.

P.S. you wont get the oap for quite some time however and none of the benefits associated with the whole retirement thing - except for the not working/not being told what to do by the man benefits.

It'll be ages until I'm making any money at all, once I do start earning I'd say it'll take death or something close to make me stop :D

You can retire whenever you like once you have the means to do so.

I want to retire between the age of 50 and 55. So I wont be too old to do stuff.

I'm gonna retire this year at the grand old age of 27. Don't have any need to work any more. I like my job but i wanna go traveling again or do some volunteering. Maybe spend some time in the arctic in Canada. I created a list of stuff i wanna do the other night when drunk. And work interfers with the list.

Self employed here and can't afford a pension, so 84.

Think drink is the common denomination to most retirement plans, second case of bulmers, current status: Spannered.

Well I'm going to retire before I'm 30 and I don't care who I have to rob, rape or kill to do it.
