    Hi All,

Is the rear winder wiper part of the NCT i.e. if this device is not working will the car fail the NCT?

    Thanks.

Put through two cars in December with rear wipers missing and both passed.

Disconnected the wiper - car passed no problems.

    Thanks all for your feedback.

Had no problems with my back wiper disconnected either, however, I had signwriting on the back window too (the reason for wanting to disconnect the wiper) and the signwriting covers up the upper window brake light and this was a fail so for the retest I'll have to just cut out the section of the signwriting where the light can be fully visible, bit of a pain since many cars don't even have the extra brake light!
