I have a new Samsung TV (LE32C45O) and am setting up with my Sony DVD Recorder (RDR-HX750). I have the two connected by HDMI cable but cannot figure out how to get the picture in wide screen (It's stuck in 4:3). If I connect with a scart, the picture is okay.

It should be adjustable on the tv remote.

I've figured it out. Under settings for HDMI output, I needed to enable to DVD recorder to allow picure adjustment by the TV. The normal setting of the DVD recorder is to show a 4:3 size video with aspect ratio as is and no adjustment by TV permitted.
