^ i watched the trailer, it appears SFW...but it's still a bit naughty, i think based on the trailer it's an erotic movie trying to be more mainstream.

I was VERY impressed by this movie!...on alot of levels. I think this is aimed at women, but men may enjoy it. It's about a girl called Belle who is a virgin and very sexually repressed, her mother runs in sort of sexual clinic of sorts, quotes the Kamasutra and appears to help couples with sexual issues.

She's a classical violinist and wants to head off to the big city to join a music school, she tries to audition and kinda flunks, her control issues and not letting herself go and "feel" the music is holding her back.

A chance and very erotic encounter backstage helps her to get through the audition, the acting i thought from the lead actress was very good, it also has alot of great music, especially Belle on violin. There are other musical sequences such as a long scene with Jesse that are very good.

Basically it's about sexual awakening of a girl starting out on her journey in life, exploring her sexuality for the first time. But it's NOT smutty like American movies, imo while it is sexually explicit and has some very erotic scenes it's done in such a way that these sexual aspects are not titilation or done JUST for the sake of showing them, they are done to further the story, give context and explain how and why through such encounters Belle attains her dream and let's go of her inhibitions.

LelleBelle was very sexually explicit, to the point you saw penetration, erect penis and blatant shots of a female vagina/labia, but....in the CONTEXT of the movie i personally don't consider what i saw to be porn, as most of us understand it, and erotic movie or so-called "softcore" it may be.

But even then LelleBelle imo is not an erotic movie either, not in the context of movies you'd see on Playboy or Cinemax, it's about sexual awakening of a girl starting out on her journey in life, exploring her sexuality for the first time.

I really enjoyed this movie, the acting was good on the part of the lead, it had good music, while the plot is somewhat thin the movie overall had a charm that i enjoyed.

Sounds like a lower budget Black Swan.

^ it's nothing like Black Swan, this is basically a movie for women, it's drama/romance/music and erotic, mixed with some "pornography" scenes. It's like a Mills & Boons, an attempt by Micha Kamp (director) to cater to what you might call (and it was sold as this by BNN) "women-fridenly porn"....but it's not pornographic, despite the explicit shots.

I'd say it's a good attempt to give an erotic movie more substance and story, i enjoyed it + i think the ladies would to.

It sound like an X rated version of Gossip Girl or one of those other dreadful shows that Richard seems to love.
