UPC Loss of signal

    Hey guys,

Bit of a last resort here so any ideas appreciated.

I live in an apartment block and my UPC digital TV and broadband went down on New Years Eve, "Loss of signal". My next door neighbour, only 2 of us on the floor, has the exact same problem so I assumed it was an area issue. Reported the problem regardless and was told there would be a technician out on Tueday... nice one, I was also told no one else had reported the issue. I checked with a neighbour 2 floors down and they have a full service.

So, 2 of us on one floor have the same problem, but 2 floors down is no problem. I have a feeling the connection may be interrupted by the floor in between us, if you know what I mean :D Am I being simplistic in my assumptions? Theres only so many times I can watch "The Wire" boxset, Im on my third run!

    Cheers
    Ross
