    hiya

i have a corolla 03, and in august 09 i got a new battery for it. At christmas it would not start and i had to get AA out to get it going. He tested it and said the battery was gone and needed replacing. at time i kind of put it down to weather. but its dead after after just driving it the day before. AA man said batteries come with 2 yr warranty is he right. i have receipt and everything just like to know where i stand with it

    cheers

    Jonny

depends on where you bought it really. its worth a go. when you bought it, did the mark it with the date of sale? if not i wouldnt get my hopes up.

on the plus side, battery have fallen in price bigtime the last year or two

might just ring them and ask them to be honest . i dont want tthem doing it if they going to charge me again . twhen they fitted the battery and after lookin at it a few days later there was a big gap and the battery wasnt secured in properly. i know i should of gone back but i fixed it myself.

Every battery I have seen has at least a 2 year warranty. I just changed the battery in my Mondeo this year, it was still on the original (its a 00) and it wasn't gone completely!

I did notice motor factors trying to sell me a smaller battery, but I shopped around for the 500 CCA one, which was the same price as the smaller ones (€65 with 2 year warranty).
