I have been looking into booking an open ended return flight to Asia but do not know how to do this.None of the websites seem to provide an option for buying an open ended ticket.There would be roughly 12mths between departure date and return date. You would probably be much better posting this on one of the boards.ie travel forums.
That said what you may have to do is buy a ticket for travel on specific dates but at a 'flexible fare' rate (ie that allows you to change the date of travel at some future date without any penalty payments)
