Duathlon Question

    Hey Guys,

I have ran a few half-marathons and 10km's this year and in 2011 I was hoping to try my hand at a few duathlons as I road raced a long time ago in a land far away!

Anyways here's my q: toe straps or cleats for the bicycle leg? I usually use cleats when cycling but am worried that I would lose a bundle of time changing shoes in transition..where as if I put toe straps on my bike I'm away almost instantly..

    Ideas?

Cycling shoes and lots of practice. Shoes clipped in already, run out of T1 barefoot, mount and cycle/get your feet into the shoes on the go. If you have a look on youtube you'll find loads of videos showing how its done.
