I’m back again, after the frozen display the battery low warning greeted me this morning.

Is there any set place to get a replacement battery for these alarms? I’m in Blanchardstown, so if there’s somewhere near me it would be all the better.

    Thanks in advance

T o Reilly's supply the batteries for this system. A 12v 7.2 amp battery is what you need. I would check the connections for the battery in the panel since it is only coming up since you disconnected it yesterday.

I checked again and it was on ok, but when I moved the black wire a bit the warning went and stayed of . Someone was at that wire before,as the rubber cover is of it, but isnt off the red wire.

Thanks for the reply and sure I know where to do when/if the battery packs in know.

If it is the connection on to the battery you could get a vice grips and crimp it on tighter to the battery. Not to tight. If the plastic connector is gone you should put some insulating tape around the connector.

Its ok now thanks, maybe I just didn't push it back on fully.
Hopefully I wont have to go near it again and it will stay working normally !

Hopefully it wont cause any issues but if it does you are well prepared to fix the problem :D

    Ah now I wouldn't say that :p

At least I have Boards.Ie because from previous experience(changing over windows, move boxs from old to new windows) there isn't a clatter of local alarm people interested in work.

Anyways, thanks again for the help!
