Hi Folks, am in some need of advice please.

Bought herself an Ipod Touch for Christmas. Installed itunes on the laptop but cant synch the ipod. The tab saying "Synch Ipod" under File on itunes is greyed out and cant be selected.

I got an ipod nano last year myself and had no such problems. I remember having to name the Ipod and stuff like that but no such luck this time around.

I deleted itunes from the laptop last nite and tried re-installing it but its the same craic again.
I'm probably doing something stupid but cant figure out what it is.

    Please help

Some times you need to use a different usb port.

Uninstalling i tunes is not enough. I think i read you have uninstall all apple products & re install them

I had a similar problem & had to restore the i pod
