Does anyone out there have a PSG-1. If so then how long does your 8.4 volt battery last after a full charge, during a skirmish?

Not a PSG-1 owner, but how and ever, I've found a good quality mini battery would last me all, if not most of the day. If it's fully charged and you're not doing a Rambo, you'll be grand!

I asked this ages ago before and someone gave me a really good tip, that your mah of the battery could be measured as 1bb. So 1400mah = around 1400bbs!

The psg-1 is a funny beast tho - electric blowback and the same long stroke piston/ pre-cocked prior to each shot (like the L85 tries to do).

It is probably best run on a 9.6V battery as it tends to seize up if triggered fast.

As Irishmaster said - the total mAh rule of thumb is a good one to go by, but with this gun it might be much less. Also, the cold weather knocks the livin stuffin out of batteries so subtract another 20 or 30% for it too.

Running it on a higher Voltage might normally not be recommended for a TM gun but as the PSG is semi only - it will be fine and help to improve the trigger responce.

Lovely gun btw - sorry I ever sold mine.:)
