Anyone ever experience false labour?

    The missus is due next Thurs but since about 8.50 this evening she has had twinges, they are very irregular on timings going from 8 mins between and up to 15 mins but do seem to be in or about the 11 min mark.

    So since this is our first, neither really are sure! :D

    Any experience appreciated :)

    was in 3 times with our daughter 2 yrs ago, was so sure the second last time was the time.
    BUT I knew when the day came tho, you have to stop whatever you are doing to get through the pain, even if the pains are manageable and far apart. I was having pains all day sat, so called the MIL and by 9pm knew it was time to head in, had a show at 6 and was in labor, but not far dilated, so 'true labor' did not start until 3am. 3hrs 25 mins later our daughter arrived.
