Very bad news, i was hoping he'd play the next few friendlies and really make that position his. At least he's still only 19, almost 20 i know but still very young.

Terrible news, just when he was getting regular games too. Looks like we are stuck with Kilbane so at lb for the Macedonia games.

Just saw the challenge there on Football League Show and it was a 50/50 ball alright, no real malice in it. Looks like he'll be out until July at the earliest.

And rumour has it, Kilbane is going on loan to League One til the summer, since he cant get his game at Hull!

Yeah he's supposed to going to Huddersfield.

Such a shame so it is.

Who else can play at left back?

    And rightly so.

why? Coleman is deserving of a start in the green shirt?

I wouldn't start him at right-back in competitive matches yet.

    Friendlies... I couldn't give a ****e who plays.

That has been Kilbane's level for a while now. The only shameful thing is that Trapattoni will continue to pick him.

Just to clear this up, I don't mean it's a shame that that's where Kilbane is going, I'm on about Cunningham missing his opportunity to make LB his own!

Stephen Ward should definitely be picked to play at left back now for **** sake

Nottingham Forest have today signed Greg Cunningham on a 2 month loan from Manchester City. Very happy with this from both a Forest and Ireland point of view. We don't have a recognised left back and it's good to get cover in so soon after Neil Warnock recalled Clint Hill from his loan spell.

Regular football is what Cunningham needs at this stage of his career, especially after such a bad break. Hopefully if the loan spell goes well, City might be interested in extending it.

Great to see him get a move like this. Looked such a good prospect but suffered that horrible injury. Love to see him get a good run at Forest, need a proper LB, don't trust Ward there at all.
