I use to have a Gas Cooker and just recently changed it for an Electric Cooker,

I have been having a lot of problems with the Extractor fan which i got around 2006 , unfortunately i do not know the Make of this Extractor but i did but the unit with a fitted kitchen in Cash N Carry ,

there is a lot of grease especially around hood of fan, and there is times it does be on and if you have it on full speed it stops after a while

What i need to know is the extractor it self has two cartridge like wheels on either side and i took this down and removed the Charcoal and washed the Cartridge that were full of grease i then replaced the Charcoal

There are also two main aluminnuim filters on the Bottom of the hood over the cooker were there is a Paper Cloth which i have changed before but did not know about the charcoal

What i need to know is does the Charcoal have to be replaced and do you have to get the cartridge as well ?

and can i get the aluminnuim filters ?

What do u recommend for cleaning the top of Electric hob i presume something not abbrasive ?
