How to install this Driver

    How do u install this driver? I never installed this type of file they are usually .exe it is a txtsetup.oem and i dont have a floppy drive. thanx!

    Re-insert the device, and windows should detect and try to find a driver. It will ask you to find one: just point it to the file.

    Or find the device you are trying to update the driver for in the device manager and select the option in its Properties to update the driver.

    GIGABYTE SATA2 Preinstall driver (For AHCI / RAID Mode)
    Note: Press F6 during Windows setup to read from floppy.
    OS:Windows XP 64bit,Windows Vista 64bit,Windows 7 64bit

    I got it off the gigabyte site. I checked up online and there was a guide showing how to install from floppy but i dont have 1 thats why in my OP i said i didnt have a floppy also in above details it says setup to read from floppy. It must be an old way of installing drivers never came across it myself before but sure i wouldnt have been using computers back then.

    Its ok now i got the driver installed!
