Lost Everything during upgrade from 4.01 to 4.1

    Does anybody know if there is a way to extract stuff from a faulty backup folder

    I recently upgraded ios and had backed everything up using iTunes, after the upgrade I tried to restore but iTunes doesn't recognize the backup folder.

    The folder is there it's about 4.2GigaBytes and is located
    C:\Users\Jim\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

    All I want is the photos really not even sure if they are there, if not does anyone know how I could restore photos another way?
