    I am working as a tradesman..( yes still some work out there in the recession:rolleyes:).

    I currently have the Samsung B2100 Extreme phone.

    Perfect for my working enviroment.... waterproof and dust proof etc.

    But I need to get something moremodern and suitable for networking/ transfering info,photos/ viewing files/ web info etc.

    I like the look of the Motorola Defy ( seen the ads and read write ups) but does not seem to be avialble here.
    It is available on Vodafone UK.
    I am on Vodafone Ireland Network and don't really want to change providers.

    Can this phone be purchased unlocked and will it be supported on Vodafone Ireland Network.

    Obiously Vodafone Ireland won't give me a striaght reply> wonder why..:rolleyes:
