Starting a 6 month round the world in exactly 2 weeks from now. I think myself & herself are fairly ready but i cant help but feel a little panicy as iv never undertaken anything of this scale before.........hong kong for a week, australia for a month, new zealand for 2 months, fiji for a few weeks, hawaii for a week, california for a month. So i hopes for 2011 are that it all goes smoothly!

Having flown Round the World in 2010 and having done Singapore, Australia and the United States I plan to visit Thailand sometime this year with a stint to Eastern Europe towards the end of the year also if affordable.

Planning my first proper travelling trip for next summer. Will be going inter-railing for three weeks in August. Planning on visiting Krakow, Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam and Brussels finishing it off by going to Pukkelpop in Belgium, so 2 weeks travelling and then a week in Brussels/the festival. Really looking forward to it now that we've started planning properly.

I'll still be living in Kosovo until May so I'm going to get a few more weekends away in that time to Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and maybe Turkey and Bulgaria.

Then India for the summer and I'll be back to being a broke student after that so my next trip will be to Tramore, Co. Waterford. :)

I'm in New Zealand at the moment on a WHV which expires in Oct. Already spent 4 months in South America on the way here so the plan is to travel through Asia for 3ish months on the way back. Hopefully Hong Kong, China (just to the Great Wall), Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos & Thailand. And maybe Singapore/Malaysia.. nothing concrete planned as of yet.

Unless we try and stay on in NZ in which case I'll still try to get a couple of weeks hols somewhere in Asia during the year!

Going to South America in a few weeks to travel the continent for 6 months by myself, have got an endless amount of info on this forum which has been great. It's going to be some trip, too many highlights to mention!

Jealous of South America.! But will be going in a year or two... For this year, my plan is to get out of Cambodia in one piece, head to Singapore, probably Bali, do a tefl course in the Philippines and then head back to Vietnam to work. If I save enough, might drive a bike to China or go on down to Australia to save properly for South America.

Everyone should put driving down Vietnam on their 2011 to do lists.. Just spent 7 1/2 weeks doing it and it was class.

I'm currently working in Kerry at the moment, will finish up here in the summer so I plan on travelling for 2 months before I continue my studies, a post grad in September. I am not sure what kind of travelling I should do this year, it could be solo or it could be with my girlfriend all depending on if she has the time. I had initially thought of doing a east to west coast road trip of the US but realistically I think that will be far too expensive for my budget.

I suppose SouthEast Asia would be an interesting trip for 2 months, I would also love to do South America by motorbike. I have the next 5 or 6 months to decide on my big trip. I hope to do weekend city breaks to Oslo and Stockholm also. I just watched The Way Back and I thought the trip they did was unreal, obviously it was very very dangerous but I thought it was cool
