Didn't the same thing happend last year? Try turning your iPhone off completely and then try again edit:
Scratch that here's how to fix it http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2374950,00.asp

...right I tried copying the link from my iPod and it hasn't worked, go to that site and you'll see the article there, the glitch won't correct itself until the 3rd

setting a recurring alarm supposedly fixes it and it should be back to normal by the 3rd

Why don't Apple seem to grasp the lack of complexity involved in making alarms for phones? This is the second time in twelve months where there have been alarm issues on a global scale. It is not hard! My ancient Casio watch that cost £5 has never failed me as an alarm in over a decades use yet the latest kit does....

My alarm never went off this morning?

    - Anyone else have this despite Apple saying it would be sorted by the 3rd?

Not sure if this issue is related. My iPhone 3gs insists that it is 10 minutes earlier than it actually is.
I have time set to automatic. When i go off automatic and set the time correctly, then go back to automatic again, it jumps back 10min. Synced to itunes, still the same problem. Power off and still the same problem when it comes back. Set to Dublin time zone.

Anyone know how they were hoping to fix this issue? They keep saying it will be resolved by such and such a date etc.

    - Do/can Apple send firmware type updates over 3G via your Carrier? ie. patch this mess silently straight to your phone via Vodafones Networks etc?

Mine is fine now. Glad I set a second alarm for my early morning flight on Sunday.
