i put private tax on the van today, it had been taxed commerically by the previous owner. Because of the change in how its taxed now, Does it now need to be Nct'd or will it still have to go through the Doe? Thaks in advance:)

Bit of a grey area (typically not thought through by the govt) but DOE centres have been instructed to test privately registered commercials. Up to you whether you want to drive around without a certificate of roadworthiness.
