Do you Like Prestige?

Simple question enough, me personally love it, I think its fun when you have something to work for

eg Extra class slots, Gold Camo, Face tattoo`s etc

Only game I refused to prestige higher than 1 in was MW1 for the obvious reason there is no benefit. ranks are below

MW1= 1st Prestige 50

WaW= 10th Prestige 65 (I played a random online game of Nazi Zombies and the host jtagged it and made me 10th, it was week before MW2 so I didnt care)

MW2=10th Prestige 70 (LEGIT)

Black Ops= 6th Prestige 50 (about to go to 7 )

Prestiged for second time in Blops today. After two hours up to L15. Shocking how quick you go up when you know the maps and have access to the game types! Personally, I love it.

Hate the RCXD. Always feel selfish using it! Going for the pro perk challenges at the mo. Might try your tip though. Cheers!

Prestiged 7 times in MW2, am at level 60-something at the mo onit and i still play it regularly so will do it again, did it once so far on Blops and wont be doing it again, an absolute chore to go through the ranks a second time,all the decent guns are towards the end and once you unlock the beastly G11 I dont see the point in doing again, emblems arent as cool as MW2s

Is there any point in prestiging in cod4? I'm not one for a different icon for the loss of perks/weapons/etc.

Prestiged seven times in MW2 but not going to in Bl Ops. Have all the pro perks cept Flack Jacket and Tac Mask and I'm not putting myself through some of those challenges again. Prestiged for the class slots in MW2 but don't feel you need so many in this game.

Same here (particularly Scout, I'm a fairly meh sniper :P) - I've never really understood the allure of Prestige. All you get is additional options for your Playercard (in Black Ops) and class slots, correct? I suppose some might enjoy the prospect of further progression (if you could call it that), but I'm happy enough just being able to have a bit of craic with the guns ^^

The extra class slots, I really can't see why you'd need them. For those of you who have Prestige'd, do you make much use of the extra class slots? I'm just wondering, maybe I'll be able to get some perspective as to why people might Prestige to get those :P

I had to have them for MW2.
General AR class
SMG class
Sniper class primarily Barrett
Anti Air class
OMA class (with SMG not for OMA noob tubing)
Stealth class
S&D class (this ended up being combined with stealth class)
Danger Close Class (for when I got annoyed)
Favourite Weapon class (started out SCAR, then F2000, then TAR, then SCAR again and ended up M16)
LMG class I love all LMGs equally especially the RPD

God I'm obsessive

For black ops I don't feel the need for them. IDK why?

I don't use the extra class slots really, but I get bored using the same weapons etc non-stop, so that's why I prestige.

I have prestiged once so far in BOps. I intend to go the full 15 in time, maybe one or two a month. I'm just going to do it for the extra class slots tbh.

Level 70 3rd prestige in MW2, kinda want one more slot but not prestiging twice for it, esp not after mastering every gun in the game and getting Fall for my favourites (UMP, ACR, Scar, Famas and Tar).

Level 50 no prestige in BO, don't play it often enough to bother, esp. not with the difficulty of getting some of the perks to pro.

Prestiged all the way in all off the cods(never played Cod 1) apart from Blops only first on Blops, and wouldn't be going any further! Not worth it!

I'll probably prestige either once or three times for the extra class slots. Don't see myself doing it anymore than that. Considering OMA Noobtubing is gone, so is quickscoping etc there's a lot less need for many classes. I don't use snipers or LMGs so right now I'm running 2 SMG classes with different perks, 2 AR classes with different perks and a SnD class.

I prestiged in all the previous ones as much as I could, but I just don't see the point in this anymore. The only draw at all is the Gold camo at 14th prestige, but I just don't see that happening.
