Spoilers? It's not like everyone's going to be talking about the same movie.

Aliens were taking over the world in that movie, and you thought a small nuclear, if it even was a nuclear weapon was the plot hole :D

Reminds me of a friend of mine who watches movies and then says "that car cant jump that jump. This is a terrible plot hole". But the movie also had aliens infiltrating the white house.

    Signs -
water is fatal to the aliens, why would they invade a planet almost completely covered in what is to them a highly toxic substance, not to mention that there's water in the air and it also falls from the sky quite often......****in Shymalaalalan

Every action movie ever - cars dont explode when they fall off cliffs/run in to things in real life :pac:

Aliens invading the earth in a sci - fi movie about aliens invading the earth is not a plot hole.

    Please use spoiler tags everyone.

I don't really see the point of this thread given that it's probably just going to be post after post of blacked out text, but I'll leave it open for now.

Ergo i labeled the thread SPOILERS, so anyone reading would know, in advance, that it'll contain spoilers....about any movie.

So why did the mod add spoiler tags? - it's bloody LABELED spoilers!

So why did you say use spoiler tags?....i marked the thread as containing spoilers, so why the need for spoilers?

Technically that's not a plothole, just a factual error of sorts.

Because people can't view the thread unless they've seen every single movie ever made..

.. common sense would say you should quote the movie name and then spoiler the ending so people can choose whether they want to see the spoiler or not.

    C'mon Rich..

Spoilers for what film, Richard? Who wants to read a thread in which any film could be potentially spoiled for them?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 21,634 ✭✭✭✭Richard Dower

Balls!...real common sense is people can decide if they want to look at the thread or not, if they do look EXPECT to see a spoiler about some movie they might not have seen - THAT is the common sense!

I'm sorry.. are you new?!

No-one wants to have a movie spoiled.. christ, all this thread will be is a list thread revealing potentially great twists.

    That isn't even sense.

Lol that makes no sense, you could wander in here and read a spoiler for a movie thats still in the cinema ffs.

By that reasoning you've just killed your own thread "do not enter unless have seen every movie ever, random films you may want to watch at some point will be spoiled"

    anyway, spoilers for Independence Day
how Jeff Goldblum is able to hook a mac up to an alien mothership when macs dont even work with windows software on earth, ludicrous plothole, i cant get my pc to connect a printer most days, never mind to upload a virus written inhuman computer code to an alien technology

I'm not arguing about it. It's in the charter - use spoiler tags for major plot points. You can't have a universal spoiler warning for every film ever made in the thread title.

This thread is a mess and way off topic. Locked.
