Newpark Hotel fireworks

    Does anybody know if there will be fireworks in the Newpark hotel tonight?

    Im fairly sure they have them every year. Maybe with the recession they might not have them though.

    On the note, New Park employee's christmas party/bonus was in Kittlers inn which is owned by Mr New Park's wife, they were only given ONE drink:eek: No party would have been better than that!

    At least buy them a few drinks or just tell them I don't have the money so no party instead of dragging them down town for one drink in his wifes place? I know your right a job is a job!

    the licence issue is very complicated and messy. unfortunatly the skanger free for all fireworks parties created this Irish ten headed licensing monster solution

    It's a pity that's the way it is! It would be great to see fireworks over the castle at new years and it would be good for Kilkenny and tourism

    A big no. I live down the road and can see it no bother and it's the first time I can remember that they haven't had fireworks
