Just watched it there again on Film4, don't care what folks or critics say....it's good fun and VERY watchable, even on repeat viewing. Zeta and Connery imo have good chemistry + who dosen't like a crime caper? :)

But of course it was the laser butt scene that has been burned into everyone's memory :D

And? Transformers 2 made a sh1tload of money, doesnt stop it being crap. Box office takings dont mean jack when it comes to a movies quality.

I agree with Richard, its a good film ,very enjoyable.
Its far better than alot of the films released in the last year, the vast majority of which were rubbish.

    I liked it too,

Didn't change my world or anything but in a different league to Transformers or Twilight.

That film, with the possible exception of Striking Distance and Bangcok Dangerous, is the worst mainstream film I've ever seen. Jones is cold (Her character and as an actress) her poor american accent. The age difference between her and connery was beyond creepy. The dialogue was shocking "That's Entrapment. No, that's what cops do criminals" Cops do criminals? Is that even a sentence? The chemistry between them IMHO was nonexistant.

Shockingly bad film in my opinion. And as for big box-office equalling good movie?...........

I dont get how Zeta Jones made it as an actress, the only thing I've ever liked her in was Zorro, and she played a good bitchy character in Intolerable Cruelty but shes woeful in everything else

It's not what you know but who you sleep with.

Seriously though, from what I remember Entrapment is decent brain dead fun, it's one of those films I only ever saw once when it first came out but every time it's on I plan on re-watching it only to find something more appealing on elsewhere.
