Who'd You See Live in 2010

As we all know, New Year's Eve is upon is, and (as proved by the recent polls regarding concert revenue) Rock and Metal fans have been among the most prolific spenders this year with Bon Jovi, Metallica, The Eagles, Roger Waters, Paul McCartney, AC/DC and U2 filling the Top 10 Highest Grossing tours of 2010.

So, thinking of as many as you can (including support bands) who did you see live in 2010? And who do you regret missing most in hindsight.

    I'll get it started off

Man Must Die, Machine Head, Bleeding Through, Hatebreed, Stone Sour, Diamond Head, Europe (x2), Devildriver, 36 Crazyfists, Idiom, Eluveitie, Jettblack, Enuff Z' Nuff, Falling Red (x3), New Generation Superstars, Guns 2 Roses, Guns N' Roses (ignoring the rather abridged set in Dublin), Citizen Charlie, Tigertailz, Gama Bomb, Sepultura, Evile, Danko Jones, Fear Factory, Turisas, Delain, Skunk Anansie, Motley Crue, Enforcer, Heaven's Basement, Fear Factory, Anthrax and Soulfly

I regret not seeing Metallica in Belfast

33 live bands in a single year isn't bad at all....Dino would agree....

I didnt go to too many intimate gigs. For one reason or another i only went to larger scale gigs. All were very entertaining, and were memorable in their own special way !

    In 2010 I saw

    Gallows
    Rage Against The Machine
    Sweet Savage
    Iron Maiden
    Stanko Jones
    Guns N Roses
    Arcade Fire
    Vampire Weekend.

Regret missing Metallica in Belfast. I was particularly busy at the time, and I couldnt afford to lose three days for two gigs. Other then that, I didnt really miss any of the top-class metal action which was held in the 02 or similar venues.

Been a pretty good year for gigs for me. Here's the list:

    Glyder
Gallows, Gogol Bordello, Rage Against the Machine
    Sirocco, Megadeth
    Sweet Savage, Iron Maiden
    Chop Suey
    Electric Eel Shock
People of the Monolith (x2), Rest
    Five Will Die
    Shrinebuilder

Would have loved to have seen Mastodon and a gig from High on Fire would have been nice. Also kicking myself that I didn't get to see Mettalica in Belfast, damn summer exams!

Hoping to see Pain of Salvation. They're announced for Hellfest, so hoping they'll be announced for a few more fests, as I'm not sure which ones I'm going to yet. Line-ups looking very tempting already though - Judas Priest, Anathema, Opeth, Pain of Salvation, Therion, Black Label Society, Korpiklaani, Firewind amongst others!
Think I'll head over to see Manowar in Birmingham, as I've never managed to catch them live before and also might head over to London to see Kamelot & Evergrey in March.

Iron Maiden and Porcupine Tree. Would have loved to have gone to more gigs than that, but was broke for most of the year so that was all I could really justify.

Roll on Rush in May 2011 :D

Do you count bands you seen at festivals?

Yes, if you like, I counted bands at festivals but only counted bands I went out of my way to see at festivals - as opposed to bands you watched one song from while walking in the opposite direction to the bar - but if you saw them play for 15 to 20 minutes anywhere this year I think you should count them (if you can remember!)

haha, I totally missed the point of the thread yesterday & mentioned who I want to see in 2011.

Saw Anathema, Porcupine Tree, Helloween, Stratovarius, Pearl Jam, Kiss, Katatonia & a rake of bands at Graspop. Very small amount of gigs in 2010, hoping 2011 will be better!

Man this thread is a little depressing. Didnt make it to any gigs last year (its last year now). Was supposed to make a few but things got in the way. That'll change this year. Entombed play at the end of this month. Gonna try everything I can to make that. Great band.

I have Explosions In The Sky, Mogwai and possibly ManOwaR lined up for 2011.

Not very many that were Rock & Metal-worthy I'm afraid...

    Two Door Cinema Club x2
    Foals x2
    Crystal Castles
    Elton John
    Flight of the Conchords
    Imogen Heap
    Janelle Monáe
    Supertramp
    Biffy Clyro
...and so on in that vein.

A pretty dry year for metal gigs as far as I was concerned, no sign of Dream Theater (surprise surprise), Korn (in spite of a new album), In Flames or Soilwork. And the feckin' leaving cert kept me from Enter Shikari :(

    Only went to 3:

    Karnivool
    Stone Temple Pilots
    Porcupine Tree

they were the only bands i really wanted to see this year, as i'd never seen them before, ditto for the coming year. i'd love to see Rush even though i'm not a huge fan.
