So seen as it's now New Years Eve, I propose a nostalgic thread where we just review all the highlights of 2010. It can be about anything personal, regional, national or international that occurred between the 1st January 2010 to today the 31st December 2010 that you found particularly momentous.

Probably not the best idea to talk about the obvious (the economy & politics and all that jazz, as mods will just send it to the superlock thread).

My year had some of the best moments of my life as well some of the worst although not the worst so over-all it was 8 out of ten, probably my finest year ever infact.

Got my dream job in my dream company so thats a defo high.

Had 2 bereavements though so two definite lows.

I began the year trying to deal with the loss of a close relative and I am ending the year burying another. In between, it has been busy but uneventful. Did recently get reassigned in work though which puts me 150km closer to home, so that's a definite plus.

Took up a new hobby which I love and have began to relive the times of my late teens/early 20s and am getting out more and partying more. The plus side of being single, ah to be 27.

All in all - probably a 4 out of 10 year.

Had a tough year at the start with final year college then struggling to find a job before having to move home again on top of a few other problems - felt like twas all piling up to be a shít year.

Finally got my dream job in Cork which is just what I wanted and had a great end to the year so worth it all in the end.

Was a good year.

Probably the highlight was I got my first car and my full license.
Though because of that it has also been a very expensive year!!

Not to crap on your poll or anything (now there's a sentence rife for quoting), but there are way too many options. All right, mediocre and not so good could essentially be construed as the same thing. Probably should have just left it as 'good, bad, indifferent.' Hence, the results are at best, inconclusive.

Anyway, back on topic, the year was all right, I guess. Fairly mediocre. Hopefully 2011 will be an improvement on this not-so-good year.

Brilliant year, good job, great wifey and our home business is going really well also. We are surrounded by good people as well.
My fitness obsession continues and I feel I am at my peak right now, looking forward to hitting new heights in 2011 in my running.
