    Hi there,

If you are feeling at all suicidal you must tell a qualified professional, we are not qualified to offer appropriate advice.

If you need to talk to someone there are some useful contacts here.

I think a bit of a comedown after an even that's looked forward to and hyped up as much as christmas - and also one where spending time with family and friends, something not everyone has - is fairly common. Keep busy doing something you enjoy and that gives you satisfaction and make sure you avoid depressants like alcohol and up the exercise.

    All the best

I think its pretty normal. Doesn't happen me a lot, but it always happens after I've visited Fota Wildlife Park, down in Cork. I have a great day out with the family, but then when I get home I feel really sh1tty. Not tired, but really depressed, exactly as you described.

But it always passes by the following day, so I'd say it should pass for you too. But like Ickle said, if you still feel that way after a few days, it's vital you see a qualified professional.
