Wheel bearings repeatedly failing

The rear wheel bearings on my Ford Focus Mk1 failed last April and I got them fixed in a local garage. They failed again in July/August and I got them fixed again in a different garage as I suspected the first repair may have been sub-par.
However they've failed again in December so there's a pattern of them failing every three or four months or so.

Any suggestions on what may cause this and how I can fix the root of the problem?
For what it's worth (probably not much) the rear of the car doesn't feel as stable as it used to feel prior to the first wheel bearing failure. It has however passed an NCT after the last repair.

Do you have non standard alloys on the car?

No alloys at all on the car.

Are the replacement bearings of good quality? Might be an idea to get genuine ford bearings if they were not already used.

I used €60 bearings in my focus and it still blew them every 6 months. Genuine(I think) lasted for a year and a half while I had it. Not sure if they were changed before I got them though.

I used to own at MK 1 focus myself, back wheel bearings went, took them out. The housing that contains the bearings is actually made of plastic, its a crazy system. i changed them with genuine ford and they lasted another year till i sold the car. They could still be going strong now.

I recon there would be 3 possibilities for this,

1: The garage is only replacing the bearing cages themselves and not bothering to press out the old bearing race which will have been worn by the first failure.

2: There are 2 types of bearing for a focus, one with a metal housing and one with a plastic, the plastic ones are sh1te.

3: The stub axle could have been worn by the first bearing failure, meaning the clearance is no to big allowing for a minute amount of play and the premature failure of the new bearings.

I suspect the hub is gone, but the garage pressing the bearing into the hub should notice this.
