    Hey,

Looking for some help for my 1988 Suzuki Swift Mark 1. I need to replace the steering rack but can't find a replacement for it. Does anyone know where I can pick one up? The mark one goes from 1985 to 1988 and they are tough to come by. Has anyone seen one parked up for scrap or sale?

    Many thanks - Will.

    Try Traynor's
    http://traynors.biz/

Up in northern ireland but deliver down here a couple of times a week.

It'll be tough to come by but there must be a mark 1 for scrap somewhere?

    Many thanks again.

    Will.

You'll find it very hard. Might be worth checking a Suzuki owners forum. They tend to have better knowledge of spares.

Also fair fceks to ya for keeping it on the road. Haven't seen one in years!

Could you have it reconditioned? I'd the one on my Alfa 156 reconditioned by a crowd in Dublin, but it first had to be taken off the car, then left while it was reconditioned, and then refitted.

Might not even be an option for yours though.

Well the steering rack is in two pieces? Is it possible to fix it?

    Thanks for comment

Also try putting a request on partfinder.ie . I did a search for your car there but nothing came up.
Still worth a request though as a lot of the breakers don't list everything with partfinder.

Also, if you're willing to pay for the carriage you could try a search request with the Uk scrap search guys.
Just search on google.co.uk for car part finder....there's loads of them.

Hey thanks for the help! Just sent off a request to partfinder.ie.

Will try the uk now as well. Getting closer to finding one! Can't wait to get the swift back on the road.:)

    Thanks again. Will.
