One click Radio S-OFF, SimUnlock (Easy Root Guide)

Came across this early on and it fully works.

It will tell you how to perm root your phone and allow you to now update the radios in a way that they will not unroot the phone.

Plus this will also unlock the simlock on your phone.

    Great tool.

I aint 100 percent sure how to explain it but it pretty much means nandroid is unlocked and you have more access to its system for example the security is lowered so you can have the phone fully rooted and still apply OTA updates from Htc without losing root.

Its good in other words lol

I set this all up in a few minutes last night its seriously easy and hassle free i advise anyone with a Desire HD whos looking to have more control over there phone to do this.

Also i noticed if simunlock does not work for u first time by using the 1st option in the program try the simunlock option on its own further down the list.

Long story short this tool just saved me 40 euro getting the phone unlocked by some randomers in a shop which can take hours.

Thanks. Does this also work with a normal desire?

Please excuse my ignorance but what benefit does rooting the phone bring?
I'm writing this response on my desire hd, my first smart phone! and the Android OS seems pretty customizable as is...

If you root the phone you have pretty much full access to its system.
So for example you can delete stock apps from the phone if you did not need them.
Another example would be fact you can download custom rom s that developers make which are mostly much better then the stock roms.

Theres plenty more reasons why its good even more so cause its very easy compared to how it was when the likes Htc Hero was first out.
