I travel this road (first exit off Strandside Roundabout heading east) at least twice a day and it's in a bad way at the moment. This is not an ordinary rant against the road conditions after the freeze / thaw recently. What is infuriating about this is the Town Council relayed this road in Feb / March after the bad weather last winter except for 2 stretches of about 50m and 100m which are now the parts that are in bits. The relayed parts are perfect but the 2 parts in between as I've said previously are like driving on the moon. Why didn't the Council relay the full section instead of leaving 2 section in between untouched?

It's taking the piss big time.

They've done a patch job but if we get any rain in the next few days it'll be as bad again.

It's possibly one of the worst roads in the town by far!

And adding the two extra speed bumps without warning or putting up any extra signs was very sneaky!
