    Hi all,

I have an issue going on regarding a nursing/care home partfunded by the HSE/state and I am not getting anywhere with the powers that be within the home.

I am looking at going to the ombudsman but I dont know much about it.

Has anyone dealt with them or do they find them a good help.

Any advice or info would be much appreciated

    Thanks in advance

you will get a fair and objective hearing from the ombudsman. It is not really legal though and if it has gone to legal the ombudsman cannot investigate

You need to exhaust all avenues of complaint with the HSE first before the Ombudsman will even consider looking at the case.
