Hey lads n lasses, I did a quick search and couldn't find much on this, so forgive me if someone's already posted this. I was just reminiscing about the time I was allowed to go to the Beat on the Street in Longford (Who's Eddie, Sinead Lohan & Pato Banton) and found this channel on YouTube - it's yer man, Electric Eddie from the 'Eye in the Sky' traffic reports and the MC for Beat on the Street.

Anyway, he's uploaded some BotS videos, like Cork '92 and '98, and Dublin '94 and '98. Mostly just a few minutes long but nice to look back on :)

LOL we used to call it the "beat up on the street" in Tallaght because of all the fights that used to occur....good times

Went to it in Cork between '92 and '95 - brilliant laugh. Remember it being full of kids trying to be "ghetto".

My earliest time listening to 2fm was round about '81 or '82 when the station was still called Radio 2 and it still broadcast on 612 MW. I got a fairly good ground wave signal in Belfast.

I used to go to the beat in Tallaght and they even had one in Dublin City Centre, complete with a rowdy bunch in the audience. I remember seeing OTT on the beat! I still have the baseball cap and the giant sponge hand with pointy finger! :)
