If you purchase something online which turns out to be faulty do you have to accept a repair or can you 'demand' a replacement? It was bought from a european country and broke down within first 24 hours

You can demand a replacement, repair or refund.

Whether or not the seller will honour your demand is another matter.

If it were me I'd be looking for my money back.

I would but they are the only ones who seem to stock this particular brand and it is a lovely product, just happens that one of them stopped working! The second one I bought is working fine. They reckon for a repair it will take 1 month from the date they receive it in there warehouse in france. absolutely rediculous
