    From my experience of buying cheep things on eBay.. I would recommend not to buy them, there most likely laughably bad if not completely useless. But because they are so cheep however just buy 1 an let us know! What's a 10er sure!

    Nic spend your money on a good one, it will be worth every cent both on the range and the course. You can use them in club comps (check for local rules) but not interclub matches. Also slope on finders is banned in many places.

    This is the one i have, its waterproof and as tough as nails.

    Those Luopold GX look nice, but I've never seen them for sale. I've seen bushnell quite a bit though.

    Just to clarify as i see the post is from December. Range finders are now allowed in all GUI inter club competitions. Also anything that gives you information on slope or takes it into account when calculating distance is banned in all competitions everywhere so be careful in getting a laser which calculates slope, you will only be able to use it in practice rounds.

    i have the luopold gx1 which i got in the states just over a year ago.did plenty of research and found alot of people had probs with bushnell and the optics.luopold have been doing optics for hunting for years over there and were best brand for it so took the plunge.its unreal small and easy to use.went with gx1 over gx2 as didnt want slope feature as much as sales man tried to push it.can honestly say its prob best thing i got regards golfing gear.
