    Hi all,

It seems one of the electric valve actuators that controls my upstairs heating has died. It's a heat merchants unit for the upstairs zone.

It's a unit very similar to this.

Any idea roughly one of these would cost and is it a diy job to fit?

    Thanks :)

    Its a motorized valve.

Ballpark could be anywhere around €50. You should be able to get an identical valve and just replace the head instead of the whole thing.

That's what I had hoped for, didn't want to have to replace the whole lot and need to drain the system.

    Thanks :)
