Water dripping from underneath Kitchen Sink

Finally got water back after nearly a week without any, but I have noticed underneath the kitchen sink that there is leaking small bit of water, mainly drips. Am just wondering is this serious enough to get a plumber or is this just due to the fact that I had no water due to the big freeze, as I said it is only drips at the moment, and it is not as if water is gushing everywhere.

You will have to get someone to fix it. It will keep dripping and eventually rot the press and mould will grow.

It's most likely from a nut on one of the pipes that has loosened slightly.

Follow the drips back to where they start, then tighten the nut with a vice grips.

It's also possible that it's just condensation forming on the pipes, which can happen if your heat has also been off for a while. But whatever you do - don't ignore the problem... it won't go away by itself!

i was just about to post a similar topic. there seems to be a lot of condensation forming on sink stop cock and water mains pipe. is this normal? there is no puddle of water just on the metal stop cock and the black mains pipe

Condensation, yes, but drip drip drip is not condensation and needs to be repaired.
