    Hi all,
my wifes crown has just fallen out. She had to get a few last year and we had to get them up north due to lack of cash.
So she will have to get an emergency appointment tomorrow in Dublin.

Any idea if I will have any comeback? Get a refund?

    Thanks.

Crowns tend not to fall out for no reason, if the tooth is strong underneath the crown stays in, if the tooth is short, unretentive, decayed or there is a post and core that is short then the crown comes out.

Usually dentist will fix it for free this early on in its life ( 7 - 15 years usually for an average crown). Or offer another better treatment at some kind of discounted rate.

The inconvenience of this is unfortunately a cost that must be subtracted from your initial apparent saving.
