    Hi there,
I would like to get my car serviced tomorrow Thursday 30/12, called into Advance on Cathedral Place today but they are not doing any servicing until next week due to lack of available parts.....does anyone know of any mechanic/garage that may be able to service my car (09 ford focus) tomorrow, thanks.

What's the panic about getting a service?

Is there something wrong that you need fixed that you could bring to REAL mechanics and not Advance?

    Try this guy

Thanks Berty, I want to get it done while I'm on holidays from work, as it's not practical to get it done on a work day. There is nothing wrong with it(I think), but I want to get it serviced as theres 15k miles on it and haven't serviced it since I got it over a year ago. Will ring that place in the morning, thanks a mill.

Honestly if my car was on it's last legs I wouldn't bring it to advance from personal experience. Not 110% if he's open, i expect he is, but if you go out to Mulcahy's in Thomondgate, you just take the small turn opposite the church and it's beside Slater's panel beater. Big red gate. Does all my fathers servicing and did one of mine recently, good honest mechanic.

You dodged a bullet there. Serviced, they'd have replaced every part on the car unnecessarily and marked it up 100% plus labour.

Yup steer well clear of advance! I'd honestly say the're more expensive than a main dealer would be! Will try and convince you that you need work done if they think you don't know much about cars!

+1 you'd want to be sitting down getting a quote from advance.
