Guitarist looking to start Rock Covers Band

    Hi. Looking to start a jam with the intent of getting a decent setlist together for classic and modern rock covers band. Here are my details:

    Age:
    Mid/Late 20's guy. Playing guitar for 10+ years on and off.

    Location:
    Live in South Dublin(Dundrum/Sandyford area).
    Happy to travel into City Center for practice ( as i know most rehersal studios are there), but practice would need to be on weekends mostly (nightmare getting into city centre from work on week nights. Tried it before, didnt work).

    Influences:
    Peter Green, Rory Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix, Bluesbreakers, Whitesnake, Van Halen, Queen, Thin Lizzy, Roy Buchanan. Anything with a good rock beat that i can give a lash on the guitar really.

    Aims:
    Initially to find a singer, drummer and bassist who enjoy playing similar music, get a set list together and get gigging.

    Have my own transport and am available almost any time for practice as long as i have a few days notice( not so good with impromptu practice etc due to work constraints).

    Happy to play with anyone but would ideally preferr folks who understand that i have to work! Work pays the bills and keeps a roof over my head. This will be for fun, to enjoy playing music, and hopefully to make a few quid at the same time.
